The monogamous knitter

The past week I have been a very monomgamous knitter, and really only alternated two projects; The boho sweater (that will get a better name eventually) and the set of hat, fingerless mitts and leg warmers that has been my potato-chip-knitting.

I am happy to say that I am almost done with the second sleeve of this second boho sweater, and that I soon will start the hood, which will be my potato-chip-knitting for next week, no doubt. And then starts the interesting work of trying to calculate how to scale it up and down for different sizes… That will be a challenge, for sure.

This weeks easy-peasy project has been these legwarmers. They are not done yet, so they will accompany me through the upcoming week as well, which is a good thing. I have an incredibly busy week ahead, and will probably crave easy knitting projects whenever I’m able to take a break.

Other than those two projects, I have basically just been repairing socks. I have a big box of things that need to be repaired, and I knew there was a huge pile of knitted socks in there, needing attention. With autumn being here now, and winter lurking around the corner, I decided it was high time to dive into that box and get on those sock repairs. Can you guess how many pairs were in there?

… 23! Yup, that’s right, I had 23 pairs of knitted socks to repair. So I decided to do one pair a day, until I was done with all of them. This turned out to be a great strategy, because at this point I have repaired 14 pairs! Yeay!

9 pairs left to repair on the left side, 14 pairs ready to go on the right side. 😀

Oh, come to think of it, there is some sewing happening here as well. I cut some fabric for a new autumn-coloured t-shirt last night, that I plan to stitch together today.

Unfortunately I didn’t have as much fabric as I thought, so I had to ditch the idea of matching panties, and also ended up having to cut the sleeves in two different parts that will need to be sewn together first. But ah well, I will get a full t-shirt out of this fabric, which is really all that matters. 🙂

Btw, I also have a new Sewing adventure out on YouTube, should you want to check that out.

Other than that, the majority of creativities over here have been in the kitchen – I’m sort of on a baking kick again. Yesterday I made a kiwi-flavored cheesecake that came out like this:

Well, there you go, that’s pretty much the extent of the creative works that I can actually show you. I am also writing a new book, i.e., which is kind of hard to show you until it is finished and published.

So, what have you been working on? I’d love to see! 🙂

I hope you’ve all had a great week, and have lots of fun projects to work on. 🙂
