… how I’m doing on that sock repair project? Well then, let me enlighten you! It is going very well. I have now repaired 20 pairs (yeay!), and should therefore have 3 pairs to go + a pair of felted slippers. Except I found two more pairs of socks that need to be repaired. So I currently have 5 to go + a pair of felted slippers. I am none the less quite happy with how things are going. Can you imagine – I’ve been repairing socks for 3 weeks now! I can’t believe how fast that time has gone by.
I am also making good progress on the boho-pixie-sweater, which now has both sleeves and about a fourth of a hood. Not much to take pics of at this point (okay, I’m just saying that because it’s really late and I have bad lighting), but I’ll show you next time.
Also, I have cast on a new hat, which will be a design intended to match both of my current Weekender sweaters. I’ll get back to you on that project as soon as I have started the actual pattern. I’m still just on the ribbing, so not much to see.
I have also finished the set of hat, fingerless mittens and legwarmers, so far as them items being done, but not the decorations. So pics of that soon as well, once it is a true finished object. Or, well, three objects.
Some sewing has also been happening, and I have finished the autumn t-shirt I had cut last time. If you want to hear more about that, there will be a new episode of my Sewing adventures out on YouTube tomorrow night (pending my edits tonight works out as planned). I also talk about my new Dala horse pillows, and that I’ve also started mending things that needed sewing, which feels really good.
Well, I guess I should get started on that editing… I hope you’ve had a great weekend! Oh, and don’t forget I post a new Knitcast every other Friday, and the latest episode was up before the weekend. I also am starting Vlogtober on Tuesday, make sure to tune in for that as well. 🙂
